GARY WOODWARD

Gary has been a lynchpin of the station since it began, and has masterminded many of the station's technical aspects, including the Requester, and our three most recent websites.

Ten years after acquiring a degree in Media Technology, Gary decided it would be high time to put it to good use, and was coerced into hosting a regular show on A1Radio. With Craig Fisher, 'The Wednesday Show' was begun, and with the help of some more-than-able co-hosts and compadres, this was recently turned into 'Tunebuddies', where Gary is joined in The Leather Lounge (that's a pretentious name for his living room studio, but you knew that) by special guests to talk about things close to our hearts and invite your thoughts in the A1Radio chatroom.

Gary is a quizzer through and through having appeared on Fifteen To One For Schools at the age of 18, and seven other TV programmes since, so it wouldn't be right if this didn't feature as part of his offering. You can take part in his current quiz, 'Siri Says' where you can call into the show to be challenged to identify a song from some lyrics, read out by our favourite mobile personal assistant.
